Philosophy

Since its inception, The Forman School has been dedicated to providing bright, motivated learning different adolescents with a challenging and supportive environment to remediate and to develop their language and learning skills. Today, the Learning Center continues to equip students with the language skills, learning strategies, and confidence which they need to function as independent learners at the post-secondary level. Of particular importance is the fostering of self-advocacy skills. Students learn to identify, explain and manage their challenges in learning, as well as articulate the accommodations they may need in order to be successful in college and beyond.
