The All Kinds of Minds Institute, a non-profit organization for the understanding of differences in learning, has selected Forman School as their designated "blogger" for the month of May. A "blog," short for web log, is an online journal maintained by an individual or organization with regular entries on a particular subject. Blogs also allow readers to leave comments through an interactive format. Forman has a long-standing relationship with the AKOM organization and its Schools Attuned Program.
During May, Helen Waldron, Dean of Academic Affairs, Diane Lucarelli, Director of the Learning Center and Nigel Daniel, Coordinator of Public Funding will answer questions and post articles in response to “live” questions and comments from site visitors regarding issues around teaching children who learn differently. Forman is the second school selected by AKOM to be a host blogger.
To visit the website and ask a question go to www.akomblog.org.

A quaint Irish pub at the Lenox Hotel in Boston was the setting for a Forman School Alumni reception on Wednesday, April 16. Classmates and faculty gathered to enjoy each others' company and relive some fond Forman memories. Classes in attendance spanned from 1964 to 2007.
They also made sure to send their well wishes to retiring Head of School Mark B. Perkins.
