Forman students departed campus on Friday, November 20th for Thanksgiving break having successfully completed three months of in-person learning, despite the challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic. Forman specializes in educating students with learning differences and the in-person experience is particularly important.
Being on campus allows our students to interact with each other and our faculty in a way that is crucial to success, says Head of School Adam K. Man P’15. We worked with the State of Connecticut, Yale Public Health, and other agencies to put together a plan that would allow us to open the campus in the safest way possible. Thanks to the cooperation of parents, students, faculty and staff, we did not have one case of Covid on campus this fall.
Forman students will resume the fall semester online starting on December 1st. After Winter Break, students will continue with remote learning to begin the second semester and then return to campus in late January to finish the school year on campus.
