John entered the academic world after a 20-year career in business. His first teaching position was at Eagle Hill School in Greenwich. John has been teaching U.S. History, European History, and Economics at Forman since 2009 and is the Chair of the History Department. In addition to his classroom role, John is an advisor, serves on Review Boards, and is the Recreational Skiing Coach. John and his wife live in a faculty house and have three grown children.
Claire joined Forman School in July of 2019 as a Science Teacher. She graduated from Brown University, where she rowed for their Nationally Ranked Women's Crew team. Claire has previously worked at Wild Ones Education as a graphic designer and content creator in Providence, RI, as well as a Teaching Assistant for Rhode Island Tutorial and Education Services for their summer programs. She is also a wilderness trip leader and counselor with Kieve-Wavus Education at the Wavus Camp for Girls in Jefferson, Maine. She is a Dorm Parent in Morris Dorm and will be coaching crew.
Molly started her time at the Forman School in August of 2019 as a teacher in our English Department. She has multiple years of experience working both in high school and middle school classrooms, most recently for Rhinebeck High School. During her time studying abroad in Florence, Italy, Molly taught English classes to students at a local school. She is a Dorm Parent in Baillie.
Carolyn joined Forman as a teacher in the Art Department in July 2019. She graduated from the College of Wooster with a B.A. in Studio Arts and a minor in Education, and studied abroad at The Glasgow School of Art. Carolyn has years of experience working in the classroom, most recently at Triway Junior High in Wooster.
