On November 19, Athletic Director Scott McCarty '76 got the kind of email that makes all of his efforts, and those of his staff, worth it. The note informed him that Forman's Varsity Volleyball Team had won the NEPSGVA Sportsmanship Award, along with Christian Heritage School in class D. The award is given out each year by the New England Preparatory School Girls Volleyball Association and is voted on by teams and coaches that compete against each other.

"We always strive to serve the whole athlete," says McCarty. "We train and groom both the competitor and the young student in the ways not only to play their sports, but how to act and carry yourself while playing. Our coaches, Head Coach Ms. Hernandez and Assistant Coach Ms. Padgett, did a great job this fall. We are all very proud of them and the team.”
