Around the Green

With a convincing 66-40 home win over Chase Collegiate School on Saturday, February 29, the Forman School Boys' Varsity Basketball team claimed the 2020 Housatonic Valley Athletic League Championship. The title game victory capped one of the best athletic seasons in school history as the Lions went 22-2 overall.
Forman was happy to welcome eight new faces to its community last week, as the new faculty members arrived on campus for professional development and training. English Teacher and resident New Faculty Mentor, Bill Bucklin, was excited for the opportunity to get to know them. "Forman looks for new faculty and staff with a strong vision of why education matters and a willingness to be part of a team serving students with diverse learning needs," Bill stated. "This year's new hires are remarkable both for the strength of their backgrounds and for their strikingly positive energy as they begin their Forman careers."
Forman School's winter theatrical production of Little Shop of Horrors took place on February 21 and 22 in the Jake Cloobeck '16 Theater. The musical comedy about a human-eating plant featured many wonderful performances. The lead players were outstanding and audiences loved Levon DeGennaro '19 as Seymour, Molly Reinhardt '20 as Audrey, and Henry Lautch '19 as Mr. Mushnick.
