Around the Green
Sunny, blue skies greeted a number of visiting families for Forman School's Winter Open House on Monday, January 16. Prospective students and parents alike experienced a positive, impactful day learning all that Forman has to offer.
Jewelry Making is one of the most popular elective courses at Forman School, and it's no wonder why. In a creative space, students are carefully guided in their craft by Arts Teacher Sandra Garcia, but also encouraged to employ their imaginations on each project.
Forman School is proud to announce the first ever members of our Athletic Hall of Fame, to be inducted during an official ceremony at Alumni Weekend, May 5-7, 2017. "We have an extraordinary group of athletes, coaches, and team members to represent our first ever Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony," Director of Alumni Programs Danielle Plante says. "We are excited about celebrating this new tradition and hope you will join us in May!"
One person can make a difference. That's what Forman School student Julian Blum '17 is reminding us this week. In just six weeks, the high school senior has taken an idea – Not Straight Against Hate – and turned it into a following with thousands of members who will march in a peaceful protest in New York City this weekend.
