Forman School is pleased to announce that Francey Fenton has rejoined the community as the Dean of Faculty. “Francey is a very talented individual and brings a broad range of teaching and administrative experience to the School,” Head of School Adam K. Man said.
Previously, Fenton worked at Forman for six years and served as both the Dean of Residential Life and Dean of Student Affairs. Assistant Head of School for Enrollment and Operations Mike Kowalchick re-introduced Fenton during the October 12 faculty and staff meeting to a roar of cheering and applause.
“I'm thrilled to be back; I'm home,” Fenton said. “These are my people. It's always a great day at Forman.” She added that she is here to “support and listen” to faculty and also help them develop professionally. “I’m a person who likes to bring people together and work on best practices. I like the details.”
Fenton holds a B.A. from Trinity College and has worked in independent schools for over 20 years. She previously worked as the Dean of Students at Cheshire Academy, Dean of Students at the School of the Holy Child, and Director of Annual Giving at Friends Seminary. Additionally, she is an alumna of Miss Hall’s School and has a deep understanding of the boarding school experience.Please join us in welcoming Ms. Fenton!
