Forman School is pleased to welcome 9 new faculty members for the 2017-’18 academic year. Forman welcomed this group of highly qualified, passionate, and excited educators on August 21, 2017.

Catherine joins the Science Department. She studied Environmental Science at Trinity College and holds a minor in Anthropological Perspectives on Human/Environmental Interactions from there. Catherine has done extensive research on biodiversity, sustainability, and ecotourism and spent some time studying Indian Ocean marine/coral reef ecology in Tanzania.
Science Teacher Jillian Tokarczyk begins at Forman after she was an Upper School Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Math Teacher at Buffalo Seminary, where she was also the Head Junior Varsity Field Hockey Coach and Residential Director.
Nicholas joined Forman as a Spanish Teacher after earning his undergraduate degree in Spanish with a minor in Secondary Education. He has a foundational understanding of independent school, having attended Northfield Mount Hermon in Gill, MA. Prior to Forman, Nicholas worked as a translator for a nonprofit community support agency, a tutor for children, a Classroom Assistant at Hubbardston Elementary School, and an ESL Tutor at Rogers High School.
Michael started his position teaching history at Forman. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in History from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Prior to joining Forman, he did student teaching at Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School, where he facilitated and led students in U.S. History and Contemporary U.S. History.
Cognition and Learning Teacher Caitlin LaSota is a creative, innovative educator trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach to reading instruction and is passionate in the use of multi-sensory strategies for teaching. Prior to Forman, Caitlin was a Reading Specialist, English Second Language Teacher, and dorm Parent at Squaw Valley Academy in Olympic Valley, CA.
Erika is a History Teacher at Forman. Before joining the Forman faculty, she taught history at Phillips Academy in Andover, MA and was a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant at Ankara Social Sciences University in Turkey.
Spanish Teacher Paolamantina Grullon Livingstone has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and has been tutoring or teaching Spanish since 2006. Before coming to Forman, Paolamantina taught at Friends School Haverford, Lansdowne Friends School, and Frankford Friends School in Pennsylvania. She is experienced in developing a curriculum utilizing American Sign Language, music, and interactive games to support the learning process.
Matthew joined Forman as a Culinary Teacher and Lion's Den Chef. He earned a Certificate of Culinary Arts from the French Culinary Institute in New York City in affiliation with Alma: Cucina Italiana Superiorie in Colorno, Italy. He also has a B.A.S. from Louisiana State University, where he studied Business, Political Science, and Communications. Prior to Forman, Matthew acted as maitre’d, server, host, and company cook for Farmhouse Tap and Grill and Executive Chef at Bluebird Barbecue in Burlington, VT.
Rachel is a Dorm Parent at Forman. Beyond her undergraduate work, she has earned an Early Childhood Development American Montessori Society Certificate and completed 30 credits towards a Master’s in Social Work from New York University. Rachel has been teaching since 2007, most recently at Mater Christi School in Burlington, VT, where she taught math, science, reading, and writing.
