On Monday February 19th, while enjoying a dinner of roast beef and salmon, the Forman School community gathered to salute the men's and women's winter sports teams. Athletic director Scott McCarty '76 called the evening to order and reminded all in attendance that win and losses are important, but they are not the only way to measure the success of an athletic program. If the participating students are improving at their sports and having fun, then the program is on the right track.
"Thank you all for your support of our teams," said McCarty. "We appreciate your time here tonight and your fan support when we play games. Our students and coaches, along with Mr. Lombardi and Ms. Yurgelun, work hard all year to make this program the best it can be."
With winter sports concluding, except for a few teams in HVAL tournaments, it's time to turn to tennis, baseball, golf, lacrosse, and the other spring sports played at Forman.
