On the evening of October 14, Forman students went to the Jake Cloobeck '16 Theater to enjoy Cometry, a comedy ensemble group from Austin, TX that provides entertainment by encouraging the audience to laugh while learning. This event was the first performance in the 2018-19 series of cultural performances at Forman School.
As stated on Cometry's website, "Every COMETRY piece or "coem" does a few things: it tells a story, raises awareness, or delivers an inspirational message, all while making you laugh."
The show featured Inatius "Iggy" Mwela. Iggy shared a lot of anecdotes from his life when he had assumed something of another person and then was proved wrong. He advocated for being open and approachable to others, listening well, and not being afraid of being uncomfortable.
