Forman Students entered their work into a photography competition presented by the After School Arts Program (ASAP), a local non-profit organization in Washington, CT.

For the last eight years, ASAP has run a special event, called "A Celebration of Young Photographers". In mid-September, there is a call for submissions of photos by middle and high school students, both public and private, across northwest Connecticut. This year, almost 300 photographs were submitted and then 60 were selected to be reviewed by a jury to determine the very best work.

Forman had eight entries and four were selected for the final review. The Forman students whose work was chosen were Haven Cody '20, Sophie Fairchild '20, Forrest Smyth '20, and Brian Blum '21.

"Arts Department Chair Austin Zimmer and I are very proud of the work done by these students," said Carter Walker, Arts teacher at Forman. "They take their work seriously, delivered wonderful pictures, and represented Forman with excellence."
