Forman School is making waves! Alumna Gretchen Conyers ’10 was featured this week in her hometown newspaper, Bermuda’s Royal Gazette.
She discussed her journey from discovering her learning differences to attending Forman. “At Forman, we could all look at each other and have this understanding: ‘Yes, we’ve been through some hard times, but we’re in a place now that really wants us to succeed.’ Magic happens at [this] school. It transforms you.” Forman helped Conyers succeed through leadership opportunities, skill building in time management, and one-on-one attention from dedicated teachers. “Another thing that helped was seeing the confidence my teachers had in me. That made me realize how much I could actually do,” she said. Conyers, who is now an Alumni Programs Associate at Forman, assists in the Advancement office with planning events, connecting with constituents, and contributing to the communications department.
