Congratulations are in order for Forman School football captain Brodie Tescher '16, who signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) this week. Tescher is receiving a scholarship to play football at Presentation College in Aberdeen, South Dakota this fall.
“It feels like a dream to be able play college football at Presentation and I am overwhelmed by the great opportunity,” the Casper, Wyoming native said. “First and foremost, I would like to thank my parents.” Tescher said without his mother, “none of this would have come to fruition” and he thanked his father for “his level headedness” throughout the decision-making process.
This binding agreement means that other teams can no longer recruit Tescher, and it states that he will attend Presentation college next year and accept his scholarship. The Presentation Saints are part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the football team plays in the North Star Athletic Association.
"Even though Brodie only played for one season on the Forman football team, he immediately made an impact on the field,” Forman Head Football Coach Zack Zampaglione said. “In addition to his talents on the field, Brodie’s leadership qualities earned him the honor of being named a team captain after only one week. We congratulate Brodie for his accomplishments on and off the field, and wish him well as he joins his fellow Forman alumni in the world of college football.”
Tescher has fond memories of his time on the field here at Forman. “The best part of playing Forman football the camaraderie of my teammates, and the fun and demanding support of the coaches this season,” he said.
