Forman School Celebrates the Class of 2025

June 4, 2025

Forman School proudly celebrated the achievements of 59 graduates during its 2025 Commencement on Saturday, May 31st. The ceremony took place under the school’s iconic Graduation Tree, a long-standing tradition.

This year’s Commencement marked the first for Head of School Amy Clemons at Forman. She delivered opening and closing remarks and reflected on her inaugural year at the school.

“It is hard to put into words just how excited and proud I am to be part of this moment with all of you,” Amy said. “Seniors, today is a momentous occasion for you and your families, and for me, it is also special because this is my first Forman Commencement and you are my first senior class, and that is something I will hold in my heart forever.”

The Commencement Address was delivered by Dr. Steve Piltch, Director of the School Leadership Program at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education and former Head of School at The Shipley School.

Alice Lever ’25 was announced as the valedictorian during the ceremony. Alice delivered a heartfelt speech on her journey to and during her time at Forman and shared advice for her fellow classmates as they step into their next chapter. Artemas Kasdin ’25 was named salutatorian; she delivered a speech during Senior Appreciation Night.

Members of the Class of 2025 will go on to attend a wide range of colleges and universities, including Barnard College, Fairfield University, New York University, Providence College, the University of St. Andrews, and Villanova University.
