Catherine joined the Forman community in July 2017 in the Science Department. She studied Environmental Science at Trinity College and holds a minor in Anthropological Perspectives on Human/Environmental Interactions from there. Catherine has done extensive research on biodiversity, sustainability, and ecotourism and spent some time studying Indian Ocean marine/coral reef ecology in Tanzania. Additionally, she has studied both the French and Swahili languages. Prior to Forman, she taught Sustenance and Sustainability at St. Paul’s School and interned at the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. A graduate of Tabor Academy, she has a deep understanding and appreciation for independent boarding school life. Catherine is a Dorm Parent in Carriage House.
