Matthew joined Forman in July 2017 as a Culinary Teacher and Snack Bar Chef. He earned a Certificate of Culinary Arts from the French Culinary Institute in New York City in affiliation with Alma: Cucina Italiana Superiori in Colorno, Italy. He also has a B.A.S. from Louisiana State University, where he studied Business, Political Science, and Communications. Prior to Forman, Matthew acted as maitre’d, server, host, and company cook for Farmhouse Tap and Grill and Executive Chef at Bluebird Barbecue in Burlington, VT. He was also an Executive Chef at both the Lafayette Pub and Bistro and Mr. John’s Steakhouse in New Orleans, LA. Moreover, Matthew began and implemented a food and nutrition program as Chef and Owner of Villa Dei Bambini Montessori School, where he provided daily cooking classes for students using locally sourced food. He lives on campus with his wife, Rachel, and their daughter.
