Forman School is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory school for academically motivated students with identified learning differences such as dyslexia, executive function difficulties, or attention deficits. Our program does not support students with behavioral and emotional difficulties, social communication disorder, or those on the autism spectrum.

Level Up! Faculty Spotlight: Jennifer Duncan

Mathematics Teacher Jennifer Duncan was nominated in November as the faculty member who most embodied the 2023-2024 school year’s theme: Level Up!

Duncan’s nomination said, “Jennifer embodies the act of selfless giving and therefore has inspired our community, both students and faculty, to give back to our greater community by revitalizing our community service program!”
“I was very honored to be chosen as November’s Level Up! faculty member,” Duncan shared. “I have seen magic occur through service programs I have run in California, Hawaii, and my old school in Connecticut."

She continued, “Our students are already experiencing so much gratitude and praise from our community. They are seeing how much their help is valued. It is also a wonderful way to bond with one another, including our parents and alumni. I hope this is just the beginning of developing a strong commitment to service on our campus.”
Students have participated in several community service projects so far this year, including sorting clothes at a local nonprofit thrift store, greeting guests and setting up at ASAP!’s annual Celebration of Young Photographers event, working on a restoration project with Habitat for Humanity, and lending a hand at a local pollinator garden.
