Webinar Recap: Managing Stress in Teens

May 5, 2026

On April 29, 2026, Forman continued its webinar series with Managing Stress in Teens, bringing together four of our experienced educators: Chief Cognition and Learning Officer Jenai Fitzpatrick, Associate Head of School Allie Maxwell, Science Department Chair Dr. Brenden Ostaszewski, and Director of Cognition and Learning Kristin Simmers.

Adolescence is a time of tremendous growth and tremendous pressure. From academic demands to social dynamics to the developing brain itself, teens are navigating more than ever before. During our webinar, panelists explored the science behind stress and the teenage brain, examined connections to neurodiversity, and shared research-informed, practical strategies to support resilience at home and at school. The conversation also offered a helpful look at how Forman’s approach fosters self-awareness, emotional regulation, and executive functioning.
