Lion's Den Bistro | Culinary Program for Students With Learning Differences
The Lion’s Den Bistro is a dining spot that serves as an educational opportunity for interested students. With a rotating seasonal menu sourced locally, the Lion’s Den feeds the Forman community while teaching students new cooking techniques as well as new food items.
The Bistro offers students healthier food options provided by local farms and develops a relationship with the nearby farming community. Forman’s Culinary Program is an opportunity for students to learn about food preparation and cooking. Five students work six or seven days weekly in the fall program instead of playing a sport.
