Around the Green

Will Cox ’21 is one of seven Forman alumni who returned as 2022 Forman Summer Program Counselors. Will, who had attended the program virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic, looked forward to sharing his experiences with the students.

“I became a Forman Summer Program Counselor to inspire kids who struggle with similar learning differences to myself and share with them the benefits of a Forman summer education,” says Will.

He adds, “I hope I can inspire the kids at the Summer Program to take a leap into a Forman education.”

Will is currently earning a degree in theatre and acting at Salve Regina University.

“In the long run, I want to acquire these skills so I can pursue a career in the advertisement industry,” he says. “My goal is to direct commercials that will be featured in the Super Bowl.”

A native of Alaska, Will says Forman School helped prepare him for college and living on his own far away from home.

“Forman prepared me for college by teaching me how I best understand and learn. Knowing how my brain works and what strategies I need to apply in college has helped me maintain a 3.2 GPA in my first year of college,” he says. “Forman also taught me that I love to perform and act, so going into a major that I feel is best suited for me was important.”
